What it does
-
Scroll the window or any element
The page window is the default. Click Pick element to target a feed, chat, table, or side panel that scrolls on its own.
-
Smooth, adjustable autoscroll
Set the speed from 40 to 4000 px/s, scroll up or down, and loop back to the top when it reaches the end.
-
Full-scroll capture
Walks the target from top to bottom, taking a shot at each step, then stitches everything into a single PNG.
-
Fine control
Tune the pause between shots and the overlap between frames, or save each frame separately instead of stitching.
-
Keyboard shortcut
Press Alt+Shift+S to start or stop autoscroll without opening the panel.
-
Private by design
Screenshots go straight to your Downloads folder. Nothing is uploaded, and there are no analytics. Privacy policy
How to use it
- Click the Scroll Shot icon in the toolbar to open the side panel.
- Keep Window selected, or choose Pick element and click the area that scrolls.
- Press Start autoscroll to read hands-free, or Capture full scroll to save the whole thing as an image.
Good to know
- Chrome limits extensions to about two screenshots per second, so long pages take a little time to capture.
- Sticky headers and floating buttons may repeat in a stitched image. Increase the overlap or pick an inner element to avoid them.
- Chrome's own pages (like
chrome://and the Web Store) can't be scrolled or captured by any extension.
